Depression Counseling
Depression doesn't always look like sadness. Sometimes it feels like being tired all the time, numb, or stuck. I offer counseling for teens, college students, and adults who feel this way and want someone to talk it through with.

You might notice some of these for a few weeks or longer:
- Feeling low, empty, or numb most days
- Losing interest in things you used to enjoy
- Sleeping much more or much less than usual
- Feeling tired even after rest
- Pulling away from friends or family
- Harsh thoughts about yourself, or feeling like a burden
You don't need a diagnosis to start. If you've felt off for a while and it isn't lifting, that's reason enough to call.
What working together can look like
When you're low, even getting to a session can take a lot. So we start small. We talk about what your days look like, what has been hard, and what still matters to you. Then we look at the thoughts and habits that keep you stuck and try a few small, doable steps between sessions.
We go at your pace, and you decide what you share. If there are weeks when all you can do is show up, that's okay too.
If you are in crisis
Counseling isn't an emergency service. If you're thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988, or call 911.
Common questions
It can be hard to tell. If the low feelings last more than a couple of weeks, or they're getting in the way of school, work, or relationships, it's worth talking to someone.
I'm a counselor, not a doctor, so I don't prescribe. If you want to ask about medication, I can help you think about talking with your doctor.
